One company that we are proud to work with is Sumlar Therapy. Kristin McMillan, the owner of Sumlar Therapy, discusses her story and experiences working with PRemployer for over a decade:

"Sumlar Therapy is a pediatric physical, occupational, and speech therapy business. We provide services for children with mild to profound disabilities. We have the clinic here in town, and we also provide services in the local schools in six counties around our surrounding area. We believe we are the only place in the country that can bring together the clinic, the hippotherapy, the aquatic therapy, and all three disciplines to really treat the needs of families.

PRemployer came into my life a decade ago and that was because we wanted some help with payroll. We wanted some help with HR. We had some definite opportunities for improvement. I know that I can call them up and tell them what's really going on, what I really need help with, and they're going to lead me down a good road. Not only are they going to get me there, but they are going to teach me something along the way.

Really, I can't imagine what I would've done or what kind of mess I might've stepped in if I didn't have PRemployer to call. The benefit of working with them means I have a much better chance of getting it right.

I just feel good about knowing that I can call on them, whether it's the payroll, an HR issue, or a workman's comp issue. It allows me the freedom to focus on what I do best. I never thought I'd own a business in the middle of a pandemic. So when things like this happen, you can very quickly get into financial trouble. We had long conversations, and they would answer my emails and phone calls. There's no way I would've been able to charter this business through COVID without PRemployer. The things that we think are important as a small business, we get to do, and what's going on in the background at PRemployer is helping us do the important things."
